WALTHER PP & PPKS .32 (LARGE BANNER)

Introduced in 1929 in .32 caliber, this "POLICE PISTOL" was of such advanced design , featuring a reliable double action operation, that it became an immediate success. Later produced in both .380 and .22LR calibers, it is still manufactured today in essentially the same configuration. Production was discontinued in 1945 and resumed in 1955 by Manurhin in France. License was later returned to Ulm in Germany. License was also given for manufacture to Turkey. Other new features were loaded signal pin and external hammer. A very few PP's were produced in .25 caliber. The banner on these grips is larger than others.
