A straight blowback design very similar to the Walther Model 4. Produced between 1915-1917, this pistol was intended to fill a specific void in Germany's wartime needs. The 9mm round is much too powerful to be used in an arm of this design. Differs from the Model 4 in that ejection is from the right. Very heavy recoil spring is used. Made for military use in WWI, this pistol was not sold through commercial channels.
