This pistol was introduced in 1913 to give Colt and Savage some competition in the pocket pistol field. Although a well made and beautifully finished pistol, it was not a serious threat because of the proprietary cartridge it used. The U.S. patent rights were purchased from the Belgian designer, Charles P. Clement. The pistol was discontinued in 1921 and the ammunition was discontinued in 1940. The pistol can be fired with .32 ACP ammo, though the bullet diameter is too small for seating in the barrel grooves, making it inaccurate and causing jams.
