Basically an Italian service pistol, this model was also available commercially. It is a slightly modified and enlarged version of the 1915-1919 patents, the first model with an external hammer. A well machined and finished pistol, generally marked RE, Regio Escrito, or Royal Army. Made from 1923 until about 1937, some models had a holster-shoulder stock combination, a valuable collector's item.
